(Tourist Visa) Thinking about visiting Brazil? From January 10th, 2024, the Brazilian government will resume entry visa requirements for citizens of four countries, including the United States. The other countries are Japan, Australia, and Canada. This means tourist arrivals from these countries will no longer be included in visa waiver agreements and must get the eVisa before their departure to Brazil. Do I need the Brazil eVisa to transit in the country? You only have a visa requirement for transiting if you booked separate flights and are transferring at a Brazilian airport, or you're on your way to another destination over land or via another airport. Those with connecting flights reserved on one booking and not leaving the airport transit area to connect don't need this transit visa. The eVisa issued by the Brazilian government now has a validity period of two years, starting from the date of issuance. This means that once you obtain your eVisa, you have a generous two-year timeframe to embark on your exciting journey in Brazil. The eVisa is a Multiple Entry visa, allowing you to enter Brazil multiple times throughout its validity period. However, it's essential to remember that your stay in Brazil must not exceed 90 days within a single calendar year. As long as your total duration of stay remains within the limit of 90 days Per Year, you're welcome to visit Brazil multiple times throughout the eVisa's validity period. Don't worry! We are here to help you and to make sure that your visit to Brazil is perfect! Let us deal with all the paperwork!
